Background
I am look forward to working with all 9th - 12th grade students and parents. I have been a College Counselor in the Alliance for the past 6 years. I am an undergraduate from UC Berkeley and majored in Statistics and Chicano Studies. I obtained my PPS credential from Loyola Marymount University.
My experience has been working with underrepresented students in a wide range of neighborhoods and high schools. I was an outreach coordinator for UCLA EAOP Program for 7 years. I have been a UCLA admission reader for the past 13 years. I am very knowledgeable of the University of California application, Cal State application, and private applications.
Philosophy - every student should be allowed to have an opportunity and/or an option to apply to college. I will provide the opportunity for every student to experience the college application process. My door is open to any student.
